Recommended recipe using Peucedanum
The herb that grows in front of my house, Peucedanum, is a super herb! When I took a walk with a beauty researcher, he said,
“Peucedanum is good for anti-aging! In Tokyo, you can only get dried powder, but it’s raw. I’m lucky that I can eat it. ”
And he ate on the spot.
I’ve been eating it since then, thinking “anti-aging!”
The taste is a refreshing bitterness like Italian parsley.
It is called long-lived grass because it is said that eating one strain will increase the daily life.
There are also other names such as Sakuna and Button Fubou.
In Taketomi Island, it is one of the important herbs used in the food offered to God at the festival.
How to make Peucedanum salad with Tofu paste
①For the leaves for Tofu paste salade, gather young leaves that look as soft as possible.
Pick only the leaves from the stem and wash well with water.
②Shred it into pieces.
③If you let the hot water pass through quickly, the green color will become vivid and the leaves will be soft and easy to eat.
④Mix with the Shima-dofu, add a little mentuyu and season to complete.
