L’Île Taketomi – 竹富島

Today, my daughter introduces Taketomi island.

Taketomi island has about 600 years history.
Taketomi is a raised coral atoll.
We have many festivals and events in the island.
The biggest festival is TANEDORI festival.
MIRUKU-sama is the god of the island.
At TANEDORI festival, they show thier dances to MIRUKU-sama.
At KITSUGAN festival, they show their dances to islanders.

Aujourd’hui, ma fille va présenter l’Île Taketomi.

L’Île Taketomi a environ 600 ans d’histoire.
Taketomi est un atoll corallien surélevé.
Nous avons beaucoup de fête et d’événements dans l’île.
Le plus grand festival est TANEDORI.
MIRUKU-sama est le Dieu de l’île.
A la fête de TANEDORI, ils montrent leurs danses à MIRUKU-sama.
A la fête de KITSUGAN, ils montrent leurs danses aux islanders.

娘が書いた竹富島紹介のメモが出てきたので、今日はそちらをご紹介いたします。

There are three villages on the island.
AINOTA(east), INNOTA(west), NAKASUJI.
There are three beautiful beach.
KONDOI, KAIJI, AIYARU.
The population of the island is about 360.

Il y a trois belle plage.

La population de l’île est environ 360.

We have Taketomi dialect.
This dialect had developped in order to communicate only theirselves during the fight with other islanders.
We still have dialects competition in the fall every year.
Millet, garlic and Octopus are important in Taketomi island.

Nous avons Taketomi dialecte.
Ce dialecte a développé afin de communiquer seulement habitants de TAKETOMI pendant le combat avec les autres habitants d’autre île.
Nous avons encore le concours de dialectes en automne chaque année.
Millet, l’ail et le poulpe sont importantes dans Île Taketomi.
