There are several islands in Taketomi-cho.
Women in each island gather once a year.
Women’s assembly was held at Haterumajima this year.
Women in Ishigakijima, Taketomijima, Kobamajima, Kuroshima and Iriomotejima boarded a ferry in turn.

We discussed the trash problem, children rearing problem and other problems in life of island with a town mayor and a town council one.

We did the training every group in the afternoon.
I participated in training of sweet of island.

More than 30 children gathered and did activity together.

Il y a plusieurs îles dans Taketomi-cho.
De chaque île, les femmes se réunissent une fois par an.
Reunion des femmes a eu lieu à Haterumajima cette année.
Femmes des Ishigakijima, Taketomijima, Kobamajima, Kuroshima et Iriomotejima à bord d’un ferry à son tour.

Nous avons discuté le problème des ordures, enfants d’élevage et autres problèmes dans la vie de l’île avec un maire et un Conseil municipal.

Nous avons fait des stages avec chaque groupe dans l’après-midi.
J’ai participé à la stage de gateau de l’île.

Plus de 30 enfants se sont réunis et ont fait l’activité ensemble.

2017年6月5日（日）
竹富町の島々の婦人会の集まりが波照間島で開かれました。
一艘のフェリーに各島の婦人会の方々が順々に乗り込み、
日本最西端の島、波照間島で一緒に一日を過ごしました。

午前中は竹富町長、お役所の方などと共に、
子育てやごみ問題など生活にまつわる疑問や要望などが
話し合われました。

お弁当を食べた後は、各グループに分かれて
観光・民具づくり、草木染め、お菓子作りなどを体験しました。

その間、子どもたちは別会場で学童保育を受けました。
離島では30人以上が集まって遊ぶのも、貴重な体験です。

会場は波照間小中学校の体育館です。

竹富島同様、広い芝生の運動場のある、立派な小中学校です。

The theme of the assembly was “Connect and tell together the living of the islands”.

Le thème de l’Assemblée était « Connect et dire ensemble la vie des îles ».

テーマは「繋ぐ」共に伝えよう島々の暮らし
舞台の上座には八重山の生け花があります。
花材も生け方も、八重山らしい作品です。

帰りの船は
波照間島→西表島→黒島→小浜島→竹富島→石垣島
と順番に周って家路に着きました。
八重山諸島を一日で回るフェリーと言うのも特別な体験です。
