Live in the island – 島に住む
Originally I was one of “repeaters of Taketomi”.
I came to Taketomi island for the first time in March, 1998.
After that, I came here in March every year.
Each time, I stayed at ONARA SOU cottage.
After that, while I lived in France for 12 years, I could not come here.
When we disided to return to Japan last summer, we chosed Taketomi to live in.
One of the reasons is that we would like to rear our children in the nature, far from big city.
In Taketomi island, there is a rule in which they shouldn’t lend nor sell land or house to a person outside the island.
When I was “Taketomi repeater”, we talked as a joke “I would like to live in this island!”.
I also knew that rule at same time, so I thought it was impossible.
Fortunatery, I could borrow one house in the village in the island now.
Today’s picture is that house.
There are also enough garden and wide field.
Our children seem to be happy with other children in the island.
We should have a very good chance, so I would like to live here with great thanks.
Initialement, j’étais un des « répéteurs de Taketomi ».
Je suis venu à l’Île Taketomi, pour la première fois en mars 1998.
Après cela, je suis venu ici en mars chaque année.
Chaque fois, je suis resté au chalet ONARA SOU.
Après cela, pendant 12 ans que j’ai vécu en France, je n’aurais pas venir ici.
Quand nous dicidé de retourner au Japon l’été dernier, nous avons choisi Taketomi à vivre.
Une des raisons est que nous tenons à élever nos enfants dans la nature, loin des grandes villes.
Dans Île Taketomi, il existe une règle dans laquelle ils ne devraient pas prêter ni vendre terrain ou maison à quelq’un extérieur de l’île.
Quand j’étais « répéteurs de Taketomi », nous avons parlé comme une plaisanterie « Je voudrais vivre dans cette île ! ».
Je savais aussi que la règle en même temps, donc j’ai pensé que c’était impossible.
Heureusement, je pourrais louer une maison dans le village de l’île maintenant.
Photo d’aujourd’hui est la maison.
Il y a aussi assez grand jardin et grand champs.
Nos enfants semblent être heureux avec des autres enfants dans l’île.
Nous devrions avoir une très bonne chance donc je voudrais vivre ici avec grand merci.
我が家はは2017年1月から、
小さな島の集落の中に一軒家を借りて、
家族4人で住んでいます。
今日の写真がその一軒家です。
十分なお庭と広い畑もついています。
子どもたちは島の子どもたちに仲良くしてもらって、
とても楽しそうにしています。
ここに住まわせていただけることに感謝して
今を大切に、暮らしていきたいと思います。
