One Day Trip for Iriomote & Yubu-jima

Iriomotejima is the biggest island in Yaeyama area.

There are many activities in the nature.

We enjoyed one day trip to Iriomotejima & Yubujima from Taketomijima.

You have to join a tour with guide in order to visit jungle.

There are many kind of tour ; trekking, Canoeing, half day, one day… etc.

We selected a program with trekking & canoeing and visit for Yubujima.

Yubujima was second village for Taketomi islanders.

They went to Yubujima by wooden boat to make rice to pay for Ryukyu as tax.

Now we take water buffalo cargo to viris Yubujima from Iriomotejima.

Water buffalo is famous touristick activity in Yubujima & Taketomijima.

Yubujima is very small island with botanical garden.

We saw many water buffalos.

In the botanical garden , we found golden pupa of batterfly.
