It was announced that public elementary and junior high schools in Ishigaki-shi and Taketomi-cho don’t close the school specially.
It’s said that more than 90 percent of public elementary and junior high schools were closed specially nationwide.

A graduation ceremony was held by elementary and junior high schools in Taketomijima.
It was usually the graduation ceremony with many islanders, too, but a participant were only school children, teaching staff members and parents.
A program was reduced substantially and  participants put masks.
