MIMURI

I found MIMURI’s textile works for the first time at Shiraho Ie Cafe in Isigaki island.

Colorful prettiness catches our eyes in a moment even if it’s seen from far place.
Motifs of design are flowers, animals, houses and cars of Okinawa so on.

I knew the designer is a lady from Ishigaki island.

J’ai trouvé des oeuvres textiles de MIMURI pour la première fois à Shiraho Ie Cafe dans l’île Isigaki.

Joliesse coloré attrape nos yeux dans un instant, même s’il est vu d’un endroit lointain.
Motifs de conception sont les fleurs, les animaux, les maisons et les voitures de Okinawa etc.

Je savais que le stylist est une dame de l’île d’Ishigaki.

MIMURIさんのテキスタイル作品を初めて目にしたのは
石垣島、白保にある「shiraho 家カフェ」のショップコーナーでした。
遠くから見ても一瞬で目を引くカラフルなかわいらしさ。
近くで見ると、図案の中に沖縄ならではの花や動物、家や車などが
描かれていて、さらにワクワクした気持ちになります。
デザインをしているのは石垣島出身の女性だということを知りました。

When I walked through the back of the international street in Naha,
The MIMURI shop appeared in front of me.

There were bags, accessarys and postcards.
It was filled with a textile work of MIMURI.
It was a space like a dream.

I chose 4 handkerchiefs and a chou-chou (hair ornament) for me.
It was chosen for a home.

Handkaerchief is enough big to using as a bandanna.
I also use it for a lunch box package everyday.
It makes me happy.

Quand je me promenais dans la rue arrière de la rue internationale à Naha,
La boutique MIMURI est apparu en face de moi.

Il y a des sacs, des accessarys et des cartes postales.
Il était rempli d’une œuvre textile de MIMURI.
C’était un espace comme un rêve.

J’ai choisi 4 fabrics et un chou-chou (ornement de cheveux) pour moi.

fabric est assez grand pour utiliser comme un bandanna.
Je l’utilise aussi pour un paquet de boîte de déjeuner tous les jours.
Ça me rend heureux.

その後、那覇の国際通りの裏手を散策しているところに
突然目の前に現れたMIMURIショップ。
バッグやアクセサリー、ポストカードなどに変身した
MIMURIさんのテキスタイル作品がぎっしり詰まった
夢の空間でした。

ぜーんぶ買いたい気持ちを抑えて、
シュシュ（髪飾り）と大判のハンカチを4種類、
自宅のために選びました。

ハンカチはバンダナにして頭に巻いても可愛いですし、
お弁当包みにも毎日使っているので、
ランチタイムを幸せ気分で過ごせています。

ネットショッピングもできますし、
2017年6月7日（水）〜6月13日（火）には
大阪の阪急うめだ本店でも出展されるそうです！
